Gabriel nació en Utuado, Puerto Rico el 11 de diciembre de 1976. A la edad de 2, su familia se mudó a Nueva Jersey, donde se crió y todavía reside. Su interés en el cuatro llegó a la edad de 15, inspirado en el gran cuatrista Alvin Medina. Gabriel comenzó entonces a estudiar y aprender la música folclórica tradicional de Puerto Rico con Alvin. A la edad de 18 años, Gabriel grabó su primer álbum en forma tradicional. Y a los 21 grabó su segundo álbum, también en forma tradicional. A lo largo de los años Gabriel ha hecho varias apariciones en canales de televisión y radio. También ha hecho muchas colaboraciones con otros artistas y ha sido presentado en otros álbumes. Tercero de Gabriel y cuarto plazos "Entrame en tu Adoracion" y "Para Todo El Año" han sido puestos en libertad recientemente. En 2014, Gabriel grabó su primer álbum instrumental titulado "Preludio de Lymarie." Consta de una hermosa gama de géneros, Gabriel interpreta latin jazz, clásica, y instrumentales folclóricos. La meta de Gabriel es llegar a la juventud puertorriqueña que como él se crió en los Estados Unidos y no puede tener la conexión musical tradicional a sus raíces. En 2002, Gabriel fue reconocido y recibió un premio en Puerto Rico cuando fue invitado a actuar en el 32o Festival Anual de Cuatro prestigiosos y se le dio la oportunidad de jugar junto a algunos de cuatristas populares de Puerto Rico. De nuevo en 2014, Gabriel fue invitado a actuar en el ámbito nacional en Chicago donde abrió para uno de los más prestigiosos cuatristas viva Colón Edwin Zayas. En el Festival Nacional de Cuatro en Chicago, Gabriel compartió el escenario con cuatristas de renombre mundial en la que debutó el lanzamiento de su más reciente producción Preludio de Lymarie. Recientemente, Gabriel formó un grupo llamado Melodias Borinqueñas que interpretan música folklórica típica puertorriqueña, así como otros estilos y géneros.

Gabriel was born in Utuado,Puerto Rico on December 11, 1976. At the age of 2, his family moved to New Jersey where he was raised and still resides. His interest in the cuatro came at the age of 15, inspired by the great cuatrista Alvin Medina. Gabriel then began to study and learn the traditional folkloric music of Puerto Rico with Alvin. At the age of 18, Gabriel recorded his first album in traditional form. And at 21 he recorded his second album, also in traditional form. Throughout the years Gabriel has done several appearances on tv and radio stations. He has also done many colaborations with other artists and has been featured on other albums. Gabriel's 3rd & 4th installments "Entrame en tu Adoracion" and "Para Todo El Año" have been recently released. In 2014, Gabriel recorded his first instrumental album entitled "Preludio de Lymarie." Consisting of a beautiful range of genres, Gabriel interprets latin jazz, classical, and folkloric instrumentals. Gabriel's goal is to reach the puerto rican youth who like him were raised in the United States and may not have the traditional musical connection to their roots. In 2002, Gabriel was recognized and recieved an award in Puerto Rico when he was invited to perform at the 32nd annual prestigous Cuatro Festival and was given the oportunity to play alongside some of Puerto Rico's popular cuatristas. Again in 2014, Gabriel was invited to perform at the national level in Chicago where he opened for one of the most prestigeous cuatristas alive Edwin Colon Zayas. At the National Cuatro Festival in Chicago, Gabriel shared the stage with world renown cuatristas where he debuted the release of his latest production Preludio de Lymarie. Recently, Gabriel formed a group called Melodias Borinqueñas who interpret typical puertorican folkloric music as well as other styles and genres.
